Happy Birthday to the Great Tom Waits...and to Tiny Tom too!

Tom Waits was born on December 7th, 1949 to Alma and Jesse Frank Waits. He once said he'd been "conceived one night in April 1949 at the Crossroads Motel in La Verne, amidst broken bottles of Four Roses, the smoldering Lucky Strike, half a tuna salad sandwich, and the Old Spice across the railroad tracks..." It's probably not true at all....but I can't help but love his lies.
